Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in his 71st year. Beloved husband to Shelagh for 50 years. Loving dad of Shawn (Tamara), Wade (Amy Sr.) and Jodi (Mark). Proud Poppa (Papa) of Alysha, Chris, Brad, Denney, Travis and Amy Jr. Great grandad to Nova.
Survived by his sister Jacqueline of Alberta and Marilyn (Fred) of Barrie.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Taylor Funeral Home - Newmarket Chapel, 524 Davis Drive (905) 898-2100 on Thursday, August 25 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with Words of Remembrance from 5:00-5:30 p.m. *Casual attire requested*
Private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Canadian Hemochromatosis Society
