<div itemprop="description">Toogood, Harold (Hal) <br /> <br />Peacefully, on September 15, 2014 in his 84th year, from Alzheimer&rsquo;s Disease. He leaves his wife Sandra, children Nancy (Rick) and Jeff (Patti), grandchildren Katie, Cooper and Rhys, siblings Dianne Gettel, Don, Gail Briggs (deceased), Lorne, Gary and their respective families. <br /> <br />&lsquo;Coach&rsquo; as he was known to many, was a warm, gregarious person well suited to his career in sales and the food brokerage industry. He loved his family and friends and was a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly golf, skiing, mountain biking and competing in many marathons and triathlons. <br /> <br />For those who wish, donations in memory of Hal may be made to St. Michael&rsquo;s Hospital Foundation or to Canadian Tire&rsquo;s Jumpstart program, which removes financial barriers and allows all children the opportunity to participate in sports. A celebration of Hal&rsquo;s life will be held in Toronto at a later date. <br /> <br /></div>
