<div itemprop="description">Passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 just 2 days after his 84th birthday. Dear son of his late parents Norman and Alcie (nee Eady). Loving husband of Maureen (Christie) for 35 years. He will be sadly missed by his children Wayne (Karen), Virginia Koziarz (Mark) and Jacqueline and his grandchildren Grant, Andrew and Rebecca Nuttall. Grant was predeceased by his sister Norma Marossi (the late George) and survived by his brother- in-law Doug Gray and his sister-in-law Carol Cobean (the late Andy). Grant grew up in Toronto and graduated from Etobicoke Collegiate. He then went on to graduate from Michigan Technological University where he has established The Joseph A. Romig Memorial Annual Scholarship to honour the professor who he felt had influenced his career direction. He then joined Imperial Oil where he worked for 37 years and resided in North Bay, Halifax, Edmonton and Toronto. He retired as Vice-President of Executive Development and Organization. Grant and Maureen spent many winters at their home in Naples, Florida. In Naples, Grant was an associate member of the US Marine Corps League and enjoyed many years volunteering with Toys for Tots and mentoring boys at New Beginnings School. He loved his Golden Retrievers Casey and the late Clancy. He also loved cars, music, art, military history and was a big supporter of higher education. He was always known for his dry sense of humour and quick wit. He will be missed by many friends and relatives. The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake for the great care he received. As per Grant's wishes, there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in May of 2017. Donations in memory of Grant can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.</div>
