KENNEDY, Frank Lawson
Peacefully on December 11, 2015 in his 85th year. Devoted husband to Jane Kennedy (nee: Male), for 47 years. Cherished father to David, Marlene, Kevin (Shari), Lennie (Nicky), Kim, Sean, Holly (Rob), Karla, Katrina, Natasha and Adam. Loving Grandfather to Damian, Joshua, Philip, Christopher, Jordan, Dylan, Halo and Phoenix. Survived by brothers, Richard and Jack, and sister’s Corrinne Whitehead, Audrey Hawkins and Lynda Murchison. Predeceased by parents Alex and Jessie Kennedy, daughter Terri, brothers Arthur, Bob and sisters Margaret, Renee, Rita, Mary and Joan.
Frank was a long-time volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the Newmarket Prostate Cancer support group. He and Jane fostered over 100 children through the Children’s Aid Society.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday December 18, 2015 between 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME-NEWMARKET CHAPEL, 524 Davis Drive, 905-898-2100. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015 at 11:00am at Wesley United Church, 15296 Woodbine Ave (at Aurora Rd) Gormley ON. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Wesley United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
