<div itemprop="description">Elaine Monica dePass (nee Garel) was born in Kingston, Jamaica on September 12th, 1929. She was one of twelve children born to Clarence and Theresa Garel. Elaine attended Alpha High and Commercial Schools and went on to a career in life insurance and banking. <br /> <br />In 1958, Elaine married Donnovan Magnus dePass and had five children - Donna, Donnovan, Mark, Duane and Yannique. Seventeen years later, she migrated to Toronto, Canada with her children and mother where she singlehandedly made a life for her family in a new land. In spite of the many challenges she faced, her unwavering faith in the Lord saw her through to the end. <br /> <br />Elaine was the quintessential woman of faith and love.</div>
