Edith Emily Moss
July 27, 1931 - February 25, 2013
Edith Moss; a woman who was immensely passionate about her family and always the great hostess to her many friends, has ended her journey with Alzheimers after a brief illness. Those who knew Edith know she would take this time as an opportunity to plan a get together of friends and family so, on her behalf, her family will be hosting a Celebration of Edith’s Life on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Kelly Funeral Home-Orleans Chapel , 2370 St. Joseph Blvd. Ottawa, ON (613-837-2370). Reception to follow at the funeral home.
Many special memories of Edith will be cherished by her children Pat (Dan) and Barb (Tom), and grandchildren Kim (Jason), Scott, Paula (David), Sheryl, Roxanne and Leah. Edith’s husband Barry, currently on the same journey with Alzheimers, will rely on his family to continue to provide him with the love and attention he had the opportunity to experience in his 58 years of marriage to Edith.
A special thank you to Janet Riddell for her loving care and to the staff of 3 South at Newmarket Health Centre who everyday worked so hard to make Edith’s world one filled with kindness, caring and dignity; you are exceptional people!
Arrangements entrusted to Taylor Funeral Home-Newmarket Chapel .
