It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Douglas Wadden regret to announce his passing on July 22, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Ada Wadden. Also by brothers Raymond and Fabian and sisters Lillian and baby Mary.
He is survived by brothers Anthony (Esther), James and Michael (Marilyn); also by sisters Alice (Fred) Hermack, Shirley (Peter) Pecevnik, Jean Ogley, Irma (Doug) Miller, Isabelle Long, Patricia (Bernie) MacKinnon and Mary (Larry) Wittwer.
Douglas is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Douglas was employed by Desco Plumbing and Heating in Cambridge, Ontario. He was also a member of Legion Branch #121 in Cambridge, Ontario.
As per Douglas’ request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial visitation will take place at Taylor Funeral Home-Newmarket Chapel, 524 Davis Drive on Tuesday, July 30 from 1-3 p.m. with a service to follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Burial of his ashes will take place in Waubaushene, Ontario, where he spent a lot of time camping and with family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
